3D Printer have saved a Baby

Garrett Peterson was born into a fairly rare condition . Garrett was born with tetralogy of Fallot . Tetralogy of Fallot ( TF ) is a cyanotic heart defect with disorder , which is one type of congenital heart disease . He has a hole in the space below the heart , which puts pressure on the lungs . 

These pressures make it difficult to breathe . Garrett was trying to breathe through a small gap . This condition is called severe tracheobronchomalacia .

Jake and Natalie Peterson , parents of Garrett , spent months and months to see his son who continues to struggle to breathe . Until finally , in May 2013 , Jake read other articles on baby , Kaiba , who also had respiratory problems similar to those of his son , where Kaiba finally rescued by an experimental technique that has not previously been used in humans . 

Jake also contact the doctor who helped Kaiba recover from his illness . The doctor is Dr. Glenn Green , a professor of pediatric otolaryngology at the University of Michigan . Three weeks after surgery , Garrett was able to smile now . " We've never seen her smile this time . Seeing he could smile is very happy , " said Natalie .
